Gudauri, Georgia

Gudauri perches high in the Caucasus along the Georgian Military Road, a mountain pass village where icy peaks, ski slopes and alpine passes meet Soviet-era guesthouses. Climbers and trekkers use it as a base for Kazbegi summits.
