Discover the retro world of the 1970s in Szentendre at the Retro Design Centre. Experience an interactive journey through time to the 1970s and 1980s featuring 27 vehicles including a pink convertible car, Rallye Moskwitch, Hippie Barkas van, Trabant, Zhiguli and the iconic Ikarus Bus. This collection also includes motorbikes and bicycles from behind the Iron Curtain. There will be a model village market display along with campsite scenes; there will even be a hippy chick ready for you inside one period house. In addition this unique venue features rooms dedicated exclusively to classic childhood games, domestic electrical goods, televisions, cassette players, radio sets – all surrounded by vinyl records dating back to the seventies - plus cycles, scooters or perhaps take a look around our Space Age themed exhibit too! All exhibits come complete with informative plaques available in three languages (English/German/Russian).
