ITINERARY:
Hotel pickup in Ica upon prior coordination; starts at 9:00 AM and ends by 5:30 PM.
FIRST VISIT:
INDUSTRIAL WINE CELLAR We will begin our tour with an overview of America’s distillery history visiting its wine press, crusher and distillation flasks dating back to 1680 used for making Pisco.
SECOND VISIT:
ARTISANAL WINE CELLAR: we take you on a journey where you learn about artisanal production processes including grape selection, distilling process and accompanying historical context since 1927 when guides share anecdotes, stories and interesting facts that make this flagship product so special.
THIRD VISIT:
CHOCOLATE FACTORY Here guests can taste various typical sweets made locally such as tejas (roof tiles), chocotejas(chocolate roof tile candies) paciencias (patience candy bars), besitos (little kisses chocolates) and revolucion (revolution).
FOURTH VISIT:
REGIONAL MUSEUM OF ICA This museum showcases all cultures developed within the region like Paracas, Nazca, Wari, Ica Chincha along with their Bioanthropology room.
FIFTH AND MOST ANTICIPATED TOUR STOP Visit to LA HUACACHINA LAGUNA which leaves visitors enchanted due to tranquility found there while enjoying dunes activities here include buggy rides through sands and adrenaline filled Sandboarding experience.
