From Bucharest: Peles Castle, Bran Castle and Brasov town
SC Vip Travel SRL
Departure will be early in the morning from your hotel, and we will drive to the Carpathian Mountains, where we will visit Peleș Castle, the summer palace of King Carol I of Romania, a palace built in the German Neo-Renaissance style of the 19th century with 160 rooms. We offer both guided tours (which include visiting the main halls) and self-guided visits.
Our expert guides will show you around the interior of the castle and provide information about Romanian culture, history, geography, and economy.
Enjoy some free time at lunchtime and for taking photos.
Your guide will share fascinating stories about the legends surrounding Dracula and give details about Bran Castle in Transylvania. Built in the 14th century, this historic site sits right on the border between Transylvania and Wallachia.
After leaving Dracula’s Castle, there will be plenty of leisure time to wander around Braşov Town – voted one of the world’s best cities by Travel + Leisure magazine in 2024. This charming destination boasts landmarks like Șchei Gate, Sfatul Țării (Council) Square, and the iconic Black Church. Enjoy exploring independently, grabbing a drink at a café, or sampling delicious regional cuisine during our stop here. Our sightseeing portion takes approximately 45–60 minutes, followed by additional downtime for browsing shops if desired. Driving through the breathtaking landscapes of the Carpathians offers incredible views that are not to be missed. Finally, we head back toward Bucharest before returning everyone safely to their hotels.
