CHOQUEQUIRAO 4 DAYS
This archaeological site is very interesting and one of the most popular hiking routes in the Cusco area Day 01: Cusco (3350m) - Cachora (2850m) - Abra Capuliyoc (2750m) – Camping at Chiquisca We left Cusco at 4am on our private transport to Cachora, an Andean community located about 4-5 hours away from Cusco, which sits at 2800 meters above sea level (9184 feet). This marks the start point for trekking where we will meet up with our pack animals and horses. We began ascending during two and half hour trek towards Abra Capuliyoc situated at 2750 meters (9020 feet) offering beautiful views over surrounding mountains and canyon below along river Apurimac. Then continued descending another couple of hours down hill until reaching campsite location called Chiquisca overnight stay here. Day 02: Chiquisca - Playa Rosalina -Choquequirao(3100m). SALKANTAY FOR 5 DAYS
The 5 Day Salkantay Trek is an alternative adventure route with spectacular landscapes surrounded by mountains with snowcapped peaks and the jungle of Cusco. DAY 1: CUSCO - MOLLEPATA - SORAYPAMPA We will pick you up at your hotel (4:00 am) to then head towards the town of Mollepata. In Mollepata we will get ready to start our hike. This one goes uphill for 13 kilometers until finally arriving at our camp site in Soraypampa. In Soraypampa we will have lunch and rest. Tourists who wish can walk another 2 kilometers to visit Lake Humantay. Also in Soraypampa we will dine and set up camp there. DAY 2: SORAYPAMPA - ABRA SALKANTAY - CHAULLAY To begin with we'll enjoy a hearty breakfast. Then we’ll start walking uphill heading toward the towns of Salkantaypampa and Soyrococha. After 4 hours of hiking we reach Abra Salkantay. Abra Salkantay is the highest point located between the snowy summits of Salkantay and Humantay. After taking some well deserved rest we continue downhill to Wayracpampa where our team awaits us with lunch. Having enjoyed our meal we commence descending down to Chaullay (4,045m/13,271ft.) which becomes our campsite; here we also take tea time and dinner. DAY 3: CHAULLAY - PLAYA SAHUAYACO - LUCMABAMBA Very early this morning we rise to eat breakfast before starting out on today's trek during which we observe abundant wildlife and plant life. The 4-Day El Inca Jungle Trek is a truly spectacular adventure that takes you to places and experiences beyond the ordinary. It combines mountain biking, rafting, and hiking through our Andean mountains. DAY 1: CUSCO - ABRA MALAGA - SANTA MARIA (BIKE AND RAFTING) We will pick you up from your hotel at 06:00 AM in our private transportation and travel for an average of four hours to reach Carrizales or San Luis where we will begin our adventure; along the way, we will pass by "Abra Málaga" which is located at 4,300 meters above sea level. We will descend on bicycles for approximately three hours to Santa Maria where we will have lunch. Along the path, we will see typical cloud forest vegetation appreciating coffee plantations and coca leaves until reaching the town of Santa Maria where we will spend the night in a guest house. DAY 2: SANTA MARIA - HOT SPRINGS - SANTA TERESA After having a rich breakfast, around 6:30 AM approx., we will be ready to do the first day's trek along a recently discovered Incan trail heading towards Santa Teresa. The first two hours of our tour will be uphill; during this time, there will be several stops so that we can learn more about the richness of local flora and fauna. Later, we will cross a section of the Inca Trail that anciently connected the sacred city of the Incas, Machu Picchu, with the city of Vilcabamba here, our guide will explain some additional history of the Incas. Located at the foot of the Nevado de Ausangate is a beautiful one day hike where you can visit beautiful lagoons part of the Vilcanota mountain range. You will be able to enjoy relaxing hot springs with a lovely view of mountains and local life.
