The entrance gate to Dhikala is through Dhangari Gate. Here one has to present their permit to the forest guard on duty. Dhikala Forest Lodge is approximately 31 km away from Dhami Gate (Dhangadi), which takes about an hour and thirty minutes to travel covering that distance. The drive alone from Dhangari Gate to Dhikala offers adventure filled moments where travelers get to see thick Saal forests along with crossing over the mighty Ram Ganga river alongside numerous other small seasonable streams/rivers en route towards Dhikala.
