FILOGLOSSIA GREEK LANGUAGE ACADEMY

Philomilo is a Greek Language Academy that teaches foreigners, expats, digital nomads, frequent visitors to Greece, and anyone interested in learning the language. In addition, we organise Greek Language Retreats in Crete, where participants (both students and external clients) immerse themselves in the language through experiential learning. We explore lesser-known locations and hidden gems, allowing participants to interact with local residents and experience their lifestyle firsthand. This provides an authentic cultural experience—living like a local rather than engaging solely as tourists. Our guest lecturers include university professors, instructors of traditional Greek and Cretan dances, sports and wellness coaches, among others, all of whom contribute to enriching our guests' experiences. These retreats cater to individuals at any proficiency level. Starting in 2026, we will be organising six such events annually; this year marks the first time we’re venturing beyond Crete, heading instead to Milos. While continuing to offer programmes on Crete, we also aim to expand our offerings to other regions across Greece.
