The “Art Nouveau in the Squares district” tour takes you deep into the Marie Louise and Ambiorix squares, as well as the adjoining streets and highlights many houses. Brussels Crime Tour

Relive the major criminal cases that have left their mark on Brussels. Hang onto your stomach: While strolling through the dark alleys of the historic center, we'll recount some of the criminal cases that marked the capital during the 19th and 20th centuries... Step back, as though you were present at the time, delve into the city's past and discover more about the inhabitants of Brussels, its police force, and most importantly, the societal norms and practices prevalent throughout each era when these crimes occurred. Embark on an unsettling, terrifying, somber journey—sometimes gory, often brutal yet consistently faithful to historical events while showing respect towards those involved. This "Crime Tour" uncovers the darker aspects of Brussels' history and delves deep into humanity's basest instincts... However, this guided visit provides valuable insights into various facets of Brusssels life across several eras along our route. From honor killings, vengeance, passionate acts leading to violence, right up to villainous deeds – just hearing snippets of these tales can evoke feelings of outrage mixed with empathy amongst listeners... Amongst others, the walking tour covers... Double homicide over fifty kilograms of ham (pork), year 1850; Legend of 'Devil's corner', dating back to the seventeenth century; St Gery Square massacre, anno Domini 1847; An episode involving sudden death ('mort subite'), occurring sometime around the beginning of the twentieth century; Case of poor Jeannine van Calck, victimized way back in 1906; And then there was the so called 'Incident de Bruxelles,' happening in the distant year of 1873 ... Plus lots of smaller incidents and interesting tidbits too! Tours are offered in French or English.
