Craft Korean Makgeolli Experience: Explore, Taste, and Feel the Living World of Traditional Korean Brewing. Located in the heart of Mapo, Seoul, Chowol Brewery offers an immersive experience where you can see, smell, and taste how Korean makgeolli comes to life. Your host—a certified traditional Korean liquor sommelier and brewer—will guide you through the active brewing site, sharing the philosophy, stories, and craftsmanship behind modern Korean rice wine. This includes a brief introduction to makgeolli, tastings of three different types of makgeolli, and light refreshments. The tasting session costs 12,000 KRW, but we’re happy to provide you with a 15% discount.
