Bear Watching Slovakia offers guided tours to see bears in their natural habitat in the High Tatras, accompanied by a local bear expert. Walking in bear territory is a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our highly experienced guides, who have encountered hundreds of bears, will lead you to the best spots for spotting bears in the wild. In 2026, we will offer around 45 bear watching tours, providing you with the highest chance to observe and spot bears in their natural habitat. During our hikes, we'll also point out trees that are marked by bears, along with bear dens on the mountain sides. Throughout the entire season, we boast an impressive bear sighting success rate of more than 95%.
