9 day Mount Kilimanjaro Lemosho Route trek; the Lemosho Route is one of our favourite routes because of its lower footfall, stunning views and higher climb success rates. The Lemosho Route begins on the western side starting with a lengthy transfer by road from Moshi town to Londorossi gate. Then over the next couple of days hikers make their way up through dense forest before reaching onto the open plains of Shira plateau. We would normally advise that climbers spend a minimum of seven nights/days climbing this route however eight nights/days gives more time for proper acclimatisation which increases your chances of successfully making the summit push. However should clients wish to add on Crater Camp then they will need to allow a minimum of eight or nine nights/days respectively so that sufficient time can be allowed for both altitude adjustment and also preparation prior to attempting the final ascent towards Uhuru peak (the highest point). Please note additional charges apply when staying overnight within the crater area including paying an entry permit charge per person.
The 8 day Kilimanjaro Umbwe Route is our newest tour and the toughest route to conquer the summit of Kilimanjaro. If you are a seasoned, daring climber then this uncompromising yet uncrowded and stunningly scenic trek will be right up your alley. Enjoy breath taking views which very few travellers get to witness; feel exhilarated by experiencing pristine rock formations bleached white by years of sunshine or balancing precariously over razor sharp ridge lines above dizzyingly deep gorges carved out by rushing waters.
7 days Kilimanjaro Rongai Route hiking adventure, Rongai Route starts at the north side of Mount Kilimanjaro, 45km away from Moshi Town or 69km away from Arusha Town; It's considered to be among the most accessible paths up Mount Kilimanjaro, which makes it quite famous these past few years. Located along the Northern Circuit area of Mt Kilimanjaro National Park, hikers will experience diverse scenery alongside various plant life and wildlife habitats. A standard trek takes about six days but climbers may choose to spend seven by adding an extra rest/acclimatisation day enroute. Compared to other trekking options like Machame or Marangu Routes, Rongai offers stunning views throughout your climb while being relatively easy compared to some alternative campsites when attempting summiting Uhuru Peak (Kilimanjaro). Moreover, its ascent boasts a remarkably successful completion percentage.
The 6-day Kilimanjaro Lemosho route climb, trekking via the Lemosho route variation, is challenging because it's hard to cover both the distance and elevation within the allocated timeframe. On Day 2 specifically, the trek from Forest Camp to Shira Camp II is quite lengthy with a significant ascent of about 914 meters (3,000 ft). Due to this rapid increase in height, it wouldn’t be uncommon for climbers to experience symptoms of altitude sickness even by just their second day up the mountain.
The 6-day Kilimanjaro Marangu Route Climb up to Uhuru Peak gives you a chance to reach the highest mountain in Africa, located in Tanzania and lying just 3 degrees south of the equator. Its permanent snow cap is quite astounding. Mount Kilimanjaro provides one of the great opportunities worldwide for non-technical climbers seeking an adventure atop this lofty height. This trekking route takes hikers through distinct highland plant life zones ranging from arid bush land down low to lush forests higher up. It's suitable for anyone reasonably fit and healthy willing to exert themselves sufficiently enough to make their way all the way to the top. Covering about sixty kilometres (thirty seven miles) beginning at Marangu gate situated at 1,860 metres above sea level; ascending steadily throughout each day while stopping overnight enroute towards reaching Gilman's point set five thousand six hundred eighty meters aloft before finally making that last push upwards to conquer Uhuru Peak standing proudly tall at fifty eight hundred ninety five metres - truly the pinnacle!

There's magnificent walking here; hillwalking or mountaineering is definitely an exhilarating pastime enjoyed while visiting this particular country park, along with taking pleasure in seeing the stunning scenery around these beautiful valley areas where there are actually nine separate bodies of water (lakes). These hills have been gifted with such diverse wildlife and plants because when ascending them hikers pass right through various distinct types of natural habitats including lush rainforest landscapes plus thickets full of giant bamboos interspersed amongst other highland mist woodland environments and greenery. This Ugandan mountainous area has become quite popular among trekkers who come from across the globe seeking adventure holidays so they can witness Mother Nature showcasing her very finest features up close and personal! As well as enjoying breathtaking views throughout your journey upwards towards reaching those lofty peaks, walkers may spot numerous species native only to Africa growing wild everywhere beneath their feet – think dense foliage typical of equatorial regions combined together with groves filled predominantly with towering reeds...and don’t forget about encountering rare birds perched upon branches overhead too amidst verdant surroundings teeming with exotic creatures both big and small sharing space under open skies during daylight hours before retiring back down below cover once night falls quietly enveloping everything peacefully slumbering until dawn breaks again bringing forth yet another unforgettable chapter in what promises to be every hiker's dream vacation itinerary set against spectacular backdrop provided solely by God Almighty Himself creating His masterpiece work titled "The Pearl Of East Africa".
