Mogambo Eco Trail

Mogambo is a 20.5 hectare environmental trail featuring more than 3,000 different types of Columbian plant life and wildlife. Throughout this path there are sixteen sections that foresters Leonor and Enrique have arranged based on how they might be used; these include dye plants, medicinal plants, timber trees, craft materials amongst many other things. As well as exploring all of this amazing nature along side paths within the park itself, visitors will come across sculptures depicting various aspects of Columbian myth and legend which represent some of the ancient wisdom held dear by both native tribesmen living close to home here and those who live out in the countryside further afield too. Once your walk has finished why not try making an authentically spicy Indian style dish using thirty two individual herbs and spices? And if cooking isn’t quite what floats your boat then perhaps learning something new about naturally occurring colourings could tickle your fancy instead! All activities available continuously but please book ahead so we know when to expect you - stay overnight for a full immersive eco lodge adventure OR take part during one visit only (day trippers welcome). ⚱️
