For a city established in 1436 Chisinau keeps a lot of secrets and has a story to tell; its centre is an intersection, just like Moldavia's own destiny - a crossroads between East and West according to some historians. A visit to the capitol includes seeing the Statue of Stephen the Great (Stefan cel Mare) built in 1926. It makes you think about what kind of "Little Prince" would be needed today to prevent Muslim invasions on European soil. He was indeed our greatest King and there isn’t another quite like him now days so naturally I am his biggest fan!
