Excursion on Etna starting from Catania - Altitude 2000 m
Discover Etna, Europe's highest active volcano, with a guided excursion departing at 9:30 am from central Catania.
The first stop will be in Nicolosi, known as the gateway to Etna, with a break of about 20 minutes for photos and free visiting.
We will continue towards an altitude of 2000 meters, with panoramic stops along the way to admire the ancient lava flows.
Upon arrival at the Sapienza Refuge, we will visit the evocative Silvestri Craters. Afterwards you will have 2 hours of free time to explore the area, relax, have lunch, go shopping or take part in optional activities (cable car not included).
At the end, return to Catania to the point of departure.
