The cooking class will take place at Palais Bab Sahra, a traditional Moroccan palacio in the heart of the medina, located near the central square of the Blue Gate. The day begins with a shopping spree in a local souk, right in the heart of bustling Fez.
There are a variety of dishes that you can learn to cook, as the most popular recipes that tourists enjoy preparing include different types of tagine (such as chicken tagine with olives, meat and vegetable tagine, or meat and prunes).
At the end of the lesson, a selection of Moroccan salads is served alongside the dishes prepared during the class, accompanied by seasonal fruits, local sweets, and fresh water. Guests will also enjoy a special workshop on how to make traditional Moroccan mint tea, a cultural highlight of Moroccan hospitality.
